Implementation of portfolio management reporting procedures and system across an international investment bank’s Global IS Function (circa 600 million GBP budget for global project slate). System and process implemented to gain consolidated view of portfolio investment and resource allocation.

The introduction and embedding of Agile delivery practices across a portfolio of projects for one of Australia’s largest general insurers.
Portfolio & Project Management Capability Development
Working with the European head of innovation, NPD and commercialisation of a global consumer goods client to develop category wide portfolio and commercialisation project management capability at group and brand level. The program’s objective was to improve ways of working on large scale innovation projects, particularly the roll-out of new products at a pan European level. Develop and embed standard portfolio and project management across the commercial and innovation organisation (marketing, R & D, operations and shared services such as legal and corporate communications).

Designed an operating model for a $350m, 15 stream payments program for a major Australian bank, including large scale adoption of Agile practices.
Program Design and Advisory
Program and change management advisory and support at corporate office North American based global consumer goods company who were undertaking significant business model transformation in their support functions through the exploitation of global outsourcing deals. Overall scope included the out-sourcing/ off-shoring of all or part of Finance and Administration, IT (software/applications), HR and Procurement functions. Provided advisory services and point interventions to support the change management and organisational effectiveness streams.
Program Strategy, Design and Business Case
Managed a program to develop an integrated planning and forecasting process, system and organisation for the buying and merchandising function of the UK’s leading home shopping/direct retail organisation. Lead the program initiation and mobilisation, business and systems requirements gathering, software vendor RFP evaluation and selection and development of the supporting investment case.
Program and Change Advisory
Part of an all-of business transformation program for a Europe-wide interactive media company. The program consisted of the design, development and delivery of consistent business processes, methodologies, systems and supporting organisational structures across 7 regional hub offices. Played a short term consultative role to plan and manage the implementation approach, mobilise implementation resource and to coach and support the effective embedding of processes and desired ways of working across the sales and marketing functions.

Program managed the replacement of core sales and leasing operations platforms for the Retail Leasing and Finance functions for Australia’s largest Retail Landlord.
Portfolio Delivery & ePMO
Lead the delivery of a multi stream program to refresh the product set for the leading Australian Credit Bureau, including introduction of Comprehensive Credit Reporting.

Focused on operational service delivery for back office finance support, global transfer pricing, payroll and employee services.

Provided an end to end delivery team for a program to introduce a new Sales & Service platform for a leading Medical Indemnity insurer.

Program managed the finance and payroll shared service implementation for one of Australia’s largest providers of engineering and infrastructure services with more than AUD 1.3billion in revenues and 7,000 employees across Australia, New Zealand and Asia . Shared service programme initiated to reduce cost base, increase governance control and provide a scalable platform for future growth.

Significant lead project roles in multiple ERP (financial) business process improvement and finance systems implementation projects across primary industry, multinational telecommunication and broadcast media clients.

Managed the commercial (sales and marketing) work stream of an enterprise-wide organisational transformation for a global travel and leisure client who had recently integrated their EMEA business and were reorganising based on regional hubs and centralising customer contact and back office activities to European shared service centres.
